Coordination and activation of nitrous oxide by iron zeolites

چکیده

Iron-containing zeolites are heterogeneous catalysts that exhibit remarkable activity in the selective oxidation of inert hydrocarbons and catalytic decomposition nitrous oxide (N2O). The reduction N2O is critical to both these functions, but experimental data tracking iron active sites during binding activation limited. Here, N2O-ligated Fe(ii) site iron-exchanged zeolite beta isolated characterized by variable-temperature Mössbauer, diffuse reflectance UV-vis-NIR Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. binds through terminal nitrogen atom with substantial backbonding from centre at low temperature. At higher temperatures, Fe–N2O interaction weakened, facilitating isomerization O-bound form, which competent O-atom transfer. Density functional theory calculations show geometric electronic structure requirements for activation. A distortion imposed lattice plays an important role activating N2O. This highlights a mechanism structural control over function Fe-zeolite catalysts. Nitrous-oxide-mediated reactions can be effectively promoted iron-containing zeolites, although information on between oxidant metal authors report characterization beta.

P110: Nitrous Oxide and Neuroinflammation

Nitrous oxide was an anaesthetic gas that was used for many years. There were many anaesthetic drugs in operations  with many side effects. Nitrous oxide had some side effects too. But it was a safe gas in many times. In hospital personnel who worked in operating rooms exposure to this gas was important. The objective of this study was the introduction of nitrous oxide and neurologic side ...

Inactivation by Nitrous Oxide

Myelo-cytotoxicity of extended nitrous oxide (N,O) inhalation was described almost forty years ago and then incidentally applied already with temporary success for suppressing leukemia. In 1948 the accompanying megaloblastic maturation arrest was explained by inactivation of the methylcobalamin coenzyme and subsequent folate deficiency. We studied the anti-leukemic effect of N, O on a transplan...

Heterogeneous Destruction of Nitrous Oxide by Char

Reduction of N2O by chars from subbituminous Siersza, Piast and Janina coals have been studied in a pressurised reactor at 973 1173 K. It has been found that the reaction N2O + [C] N2 + [CO] is controlled both by the chemical kinetics and diffusion of N2O within char particle's pores. The rate constant of the above reaction has been found to be independent of pressure within the examined range ...

Histopathological effects of quercetin on liver tissue damage induced by iron oxide and iron oxide nanoparticles in Wistar rats

Introduction: Industrial and environmental pollution, excessive iron supplementation and blood transfusion are among the factors that may cause iron toxicity. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the mechanisms influencing or protecting against iron toxicity. The present study aimed to investigate the protective effects of quercetin as an antioxidant on hepatotoxicity induced by iron oxide an...
